ABOUT THE SHOW: 

     Off The Walls is a show concept written and created by Matt Letrs, it's inspired by the stories his  friends and colleagues in the global art scene and his brief time on the  Netflix show "Instant Dream Home".  

      In every season of Off The Walls we'll travel to a new city and a new art scene, picking up 5 established local muralists/fine artists to participate in that season. In each episode our artists and viewers will meet a new client, hear their story and their proposal for a new mural or art installation. These clients can vary from local businesses like restaurants or breweries to fortune 500 companies or sports and entertainment clients; and the projects can sometimes go from big to massive. In this respect each episode will offer an entirely new vision and surface; and thus a new challenge for artists.  Our 5 artists will then individually place bids for the client to decide - these are real budgets determined by our artists. Five will bid but only one will get the client approval. 

     Once our client has chosen the winning artist they'll begin the process of finalizing a design, purchasing the paint and prepping the site. As work commences on the wall Matt will be on site with our artist, asking them questions that pertain to their experience in the art world - getting valuable info and interesting stories from each artist throughout the season. We learn their back story, how they found success and of course Matt will get try to get our artists to divulge their various secret methods; sometimes joining in on the painting himself while conducting interviews (he can't resist).

      To get even more insight on how our artists operate in the multi-billion dollar global art-market: we'll check in with one of our artists who didn't get the gig, to see how they handled the rejection and 'kept the movement moving'. Through this we'll have a chance to expose our audience to different genres of art. Gallery art, sculpture, fashion, technology and so much more will be briefly highlighted. 

     Checking back in with our featured client and artist, we will wrap each episode with a time lapse segment of the mural being painted from start to finish. Once that's completed Matt will talk  with our artist once last time before we bring the client in for the big reveal. What will the client's reaction be? Will they like the work? Its just another day for our artists' and no two are ever the same...
